Binche Keyoh First Nation

The Binche Keyoh First Nation is located 25km from Fort St. James, British Columbia, at the mouth of the Binche River that drains the Binche Lake into Stuart Lake. The people still live off the land and travel to their campgrounds in the summertime and gather for their winter storage.

The Binche Keyoh strongly believes that independence is freedom and is key to their survival as Binche Whut’enne.

The Binche Keyoh hired Linda to assess the readiness of the Nation to develop market housing. This included traveling to the Nation to meet with the Community, Staff and Chief and Council, writing a Market Housing Feasibility Report, and making recommendations for moving forward.
